Jiri to Everest Base Camp - 23 Days

This is considered as the old trekking route used by late Sir Edmund Hillary and late Tenzing Norgay while climbing Mt. Everest in 1953. Starting with a 8- hour scenic drive to Jiri, the trail winds, climbs and descends its way through lush low land and alpine forest, Buddhist monasteries and authentic Sherpa Villages of the lower Solukhumbu. We cross through the Lamjura Pass while enjoying the excellent views of the towering snow capped peak in the backdrop.  This trek provides you the opportunity to explore the lifestyle of the Himalayan people, their religion, customs and traditions. Alluring birds like the golden eagle, snow pigeon, red-billed and yellow-billed choughs and flowers like rhododendron, magnolias, blue pine, chir pine, juniper and hemlock make the trekking delightful for nature lovers
