The trails take you across sacred lakes, into lush green Rhododendron forest and continue up to scenic hamlets where you will find yourself surrounded by the stunning views of some of the tallest peaks in the world. As you hike through the rich landscape of the region the beautiful face of nature attract you. It has over 70 glaciers of varying sizes. The three major areas are Langtang, Gosainkunda (a holy lake at 4300m) & Surya Peak(5145m, Trekking Peak – no extra permit) ,and Helambu.
Gosainkunda is a sacred lake, which is very important for both Hindus and Buddhists.

Helambu valley is very famous for its natural beauty and wonderful climate with the superb views of the magnificent snow-covered mountains. The area covers typical highland Sherpa villages along with beautiful Rhododendron forests.

Details Itinerary

Days 01 : Meeting upon arrival at Kathmandu International airport and transfer to Hotel

Day 02: Drive to Dhunche by local bus 8 hours or by Private Land Crujar Jeep 5-6 hours and overnight in the Hotel

Day 3: Trek Dhunche to Thulo Syabru and overnight in the Hotel

Day04: Trek from Thulo Syabru to Sing Gompa or Chandan Bari (3330m.)-Chollang pati it takes about five hours. Overnight in the Hotel.

Day 05: Trek from Chollang pati to Gosaikunda (4300m.) via Lauribinayak La (3920m.) takes about five and half hours. Overnight in the Hotel.

Day 06: Early Morning after breakfast Trek uphill to Surya Peak(5145m, Trekking Peak – no extra permit) about 3 Hours and watch Majestic view of the Annapurna range, Manasulu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang Range, Gaurishankar and more
And Trek back downhill about 1 hour to Gosainkunda and rest and explore more around it.

Day 07: Trek from Gosainkunda to Gosainkunda Pass (4610m.toGhopte (3430m.).

Day 08: Trek from Ghopte to Melamchi Gaon via Tharepati Pass (3490m.).

Day 09: Trek from Melamchi Gaon to Tarkeghyang (2743m.) takes about three hours.

Day 10: Trek from Tarkeghyang to Shermathang (2621m.) and it takes about five hours.

Day 11: Trek from Shermathang to Melamchi Pul Bazaar (846m.).

Day 12: Drive from Melamchi Pul Bazaar to Kathmandu and this takes about five hours.

Days13: Kathmandu Heritage sites and Valley sightseeing
