Ghorepani –Poon hill Trek

It is a colorful short trek into the Annapurna region. The trail winds through patchwork valleys, dense mossy forests and past icy waterfalls where you can stop to cool yourself. Around every corner is a tantalizing glimpse of the high mountains, whole horizons of which will be revealed to you as you reach the high points of your trek.
This trek in the Annapurna foothills to the view point on Poon Hill offers all the best of trekking in Nepal. Enjoy trekking in the spectacular mountain scenery through charming villages inhabited by the Gurungs,  Magars, dense rhododendron forests full of birds and deep sub-tropical valleys, all set below the Annapurnas with the picturesque peaks of Machhapuchhare (Fish Tail Peak) dominating the skyline. At the climax of this trek you will climb Poonhill at dawn to enjoy one of the most spectacular mountains on Earth. As the sun touches the snow-capped summits the Himalayan giants, Dhaulagiri (8,167m.) and Annapurna (8,091m.) along with a maze of other peaks, slowly begin to appear, like magic, before your eyes. This is a rewarding trek that can be enjoyed by every lover of nature and beautiful landscape.

Trek Profile

Itinerary:-
Day 01: Arrival In international Airport in  Kathmandu & transfer to hotel.

Day 02: Fly or  Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m.).

Day 03: Drive from Pokhara (915 m.) to Nayapul (1050m.)1 hours. Now you begin your trek from Nayapul (1050m.) to Tikhedhunga (1577 m.) via Birethanti (1065m.,4 hrs).

Day 04: Trek from Tirkhedhunga to Ghorepani (2675 m, 6hrs). To begin your trek, you ascend steeply for the early 2 hours and then ascend gently passing through Ulleri (2070m.) and Banthanti, Magar villages.you really love to see Beutyful  Rodhodendron Forest,river and water fall, Birds and monkey.

Day 05: Trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani (2653m.,4-5 hrs). Early morning excursion to Poon Hill (3232m.) to enjoy the sunrise view over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Varaha Shikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna  South (7219m.), Annapurna III (7855m.), Machhapuchhre (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7937m.), Lamjung Himal (6931m.) and many other snowy mountain peaks. You can see Common Longular (Monkey), Deers some time,Many specious of  Birds, Leo pard if you are lucky,Dense Rododern Forest,Beutyful rocks,River and water fall.

Day 06: Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk (1951m.,3-4 hours)All the way decend through the dense rothodendron Forest. Reach Ghandruk Village (famouse gurung Village) Visit local Monastry,Gurung Musiem, Enjoy the  View of Machhapuchhre (6993m.),Annapurna South and Himchuli.

 Day 07: Trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul via Birethanti 5hrs

Day 08: Pokhara valley sightseeeing

Day 09: Fly / Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Day 10: Sightseeing in Kathmandu some world heritage site.

Day11: Transfer from hotel to the airport for final departure. If you would like to spend
