Highlight of the Trekking
It is one of the best treks in central Nepal on non-touristy area. This trek involves no flight, the mountain passes are not very difficult and the trekking region is relatively warmer. However, this trek offers authentic experience of unspoilt Tamang villages, beautiful farm terraces and superb views of Ganesh Himal and other mountains.
The trek starts after a few hours of drive along the Kathmandu to Dhunche highway. It passes through foothills and lowland farm terraces to ethnic Tamang villages on higher altitudes. Along the trail, the trek offers superb close views of Ganesh himal, Langtang, Buddha Himal, Hiunchuli and other peaks of central Himalaya. The highest altitude on this trek is the Shingla pass at 4200m followed by Pansang La pass at 4100 m. These passes are also two finest view points during the trek. The Ganesh Himal trek ends at Dhading Besi from where we catch our transport to Kathmandu. It is a fully supported camping trek, our trekking crew will carry the luggage and supply, the camp cook will prepare hot meals for your and the Sherpas will fix the tents. You just carry a light daypack and on average walk for 5-6 hours.

by walk and explore non touristic area with the view of different Villages as well as Budhi Gandaki River & its gorge and Eastern landscape of Gorkha District from which first King of Shah Dynasty started to unification of modern Nepal in 18th century. When you are Walking through the pine and sal forest, on the way you can visit the Kalika temple also . and see more terraced cultivated fields and farmers working there .You can stay in Camping for overnight. And in the you can see the cultural programs of different tribes such as Magar,Chhetri,Newar and Bramin etc.
Early in the morning you can watch the sunrise and spectular views of the different mountain from Ghale danda .Such as Mt Ganesh Himal, Langtang,Annapurna Range,Manasulu, on the Northen side.
After breakfast trek down hill to The Chhori Gandaki Khola through Forest and Visit Holy Lake called Jaldevi Raa. Which is Historical importatat place. When the places becomes draught long time , the village people worship the jaldevi after that they believe the rain will fall soon . According to the village people it was really happened after worshping in the same day in the year 1991.
From Jaladevi we walk up through the Tamang village Bichchetar to the village Maidi village and overnight we stay there in camping. You can visit the historical place which called Maidi Kot where the first King of Shah dynasty Prithibi Narayan Shah’s sacred thread ceremony was held. As well as you can see the daily lifestyle of village people, and its surroundings. From this village you can have a big panoramic vies of the himalayas, Annapurna to Langtang.
After breakfast we start our trek from Maidi – Nalang village, which takes about 4 to 5 hours walk. The way goes up and down . There You can stay in a lodge which provides good food and accommodation. from there you can see the majestic views of Himalaya at 180 degrees. Good chance to explore different kind of birds including rare species Spiny Babbler(only can be found in Nepal) and different kinds of animals.
From here early in the morning you can watch the Sun rise view and After breakfast star trek through sal forest and village to to Dhola Mandali Mai(Hindu Goddess). Specially on Tuesday only men from surrounding area and some people from India also go to worship there. But the local magar people believe the goddess as there family goddess.At the time of worshiping they offer flowers ,fruits and Sacrifices more than 100 She goats to fulfil people’s wish.They do not bring the sacrificed she goats back to the home but they prepare it around there eat all meats there themselves , neighbours and relatives.overnight in the camping.
