The Annapurna sanctuary is a wonderful trek that takes us to Annapurna base camp situated under the immense south face of Annapurna. The trail passes through cultivated fields and beautiful forests of oak, magnolia and rhododendron before arriving at the ridge of Ghorepani. We then ascend Poon Hill (3210m) for Sun-Rise view and impressive mountain panorama ranging from Dhaulagiri, Hiunchuli, Annapurna South and the fluted peak of Machapuchare.
